Why Gum Treatment Matters?
Gums do more than just hold your teeth in place, they’re essential for your overall oral and systemic health.
Untreated gum disease can lead to:
• Tooth loss
• Bad breath
• Gum recession and bleeding
• Loose teeth
• Jawbone damage
• Increased risk of heart disease, diabetes complications, and pregnancy issues -
That’s why early detection, treatment, and ongoing maintenance are critical. Healthy gums not only support a confident smile but also protect your body from chronic inflammation and infection.

1. Scaling & Root Planing (Deep Cleaning)
A non-surgical treatment to remove plaque and tartar from beneath the gumline. This procedure smoothens the tooth roots, helping the gums reattach and heal—often the first line of defense against gum disease.
2. Gingivectomy
This surgical procedure removes excess or infected gum tissue to reduce deep gum pockets and improve oral hygiene. It can also enhance smile aesthetics by reshaping uneven or bulky gums.

3. Flap Surgery
A targeted surgical treatment for advanced gum disease. The gums are gently lifted to clean deep tartar deposits and repair damaged bone, then repositioned snugly to promote healing and reduce pocket depth.
4. Crown Lengthening Procedure
This procedure reshapes gum and bone levels to expose more of the natural tooth. It is often done to support restorative treatments like crowns or to correct a “gummy smile” for improved aesthetics.

5. Gum Grafting
Used to treat receding gums, gum grafting protects tooth roots, reduces sensitivity, and restores a natural gum line. Tissue is taken from the palate or another donor site and grafted onto the receded area.
6. Periodontal Maintenance Therapy
Essential after any gum treatment, maintenance therapy includes professional cleanings every 3–4 months, gum health monitoring, and preventive care to maintain results and avoid disease recurrence.
